Monday at the Beach

Monday was a great day. We went to the Virginia Beach!!!! It was my first time swimming in the Atlantic Ocean and my first time swimming in waves!!!!!!!! It was so fun!!! There were tons of people but that was to be expected being the 4th of July week. The air was hot and humid, the water was perfect, and the waves so cool. There were even pieces of dead jellyfish in the water. They feel like rubbery plastic, and very smooth, and are clear. The part where the tentacles attached is bumpy and rough. We found quite a few whole bodies minus the stinging tentacles. There was a group of girls maybe age 12 and 13 who would scream and run out of the water whenever anyone said anything about there seeing a jellyfish. They were quite entertaining. The jellyfish were amazing and I marveled at how God created them. Nothing manmade could come close to there (even though dead) amazing bodies. The beach was a blast!!!!!!!!

That sounds like fun! I love the beach. It is so relaxing and peaceful in the evening time, watching the sun go down (if you are on the West Coast!). I am glad that you got to go and have a good time there. And your first time in the waves... Awesome!

BTW, writing class was canceled on Friday. The Dalbey's had the leave early on Friday instead of Saturday. I am meeting with her on Thursday. So, I can tell you what she wants us to do.

Can't wait to see you.
