Eye Strings
What about having your “eye strings break in death”? Interesting. We sang that in Rock of Ages; the verse goes like this “Whilst I draw this fleeting breath; When my Eye strings break in Death, When I soar through tracts unknown, See Thee on thy Judgment Throne, Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee.”
